Roubaix
France, officially the French Republic, is a country whose metropolitan territory is located in Western Europe and comprises various overseas islands and territories which are located in other regions. Metropolitan France extends from the Mediterranean Sea to the English Channel and the North Sea and from the Rhine to the Atlantic Ocean. At 674,843 square kilometers, France is the world's 40th-largest country after Myanmar. France is a member of The European Union and Paris is the capital of this nation. Roubaix is a city of northern France, in the Nord department, located near the cities of Lille and Tourcoing and the Belgian border. The land area of the city is 13.23 square kilometers. The total population recorded in 1999 was 96,984. The density of population in 1999 was 7,330 per square kilometer. There are many sights famous in the Roubaix. Like Notable is the piscine art gallery, which as the name implies, is located in the old municipal swimming pool.
Nord is a department in the north of France. In population terms, it is France's largest.
