Pontault-Combault is a community in the eastern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 19.8 kilometers far from the center of Paris. In 1999, the population of the city was 32,886 and an area of 13.64 square kilometers. The community of Pontault-Combault was created in 1839 by the merger of the community of Pontault with the community of Combault. The community town hall Mairie is located in Combault. Before this merger, the community of Pontault had already annexed the community of Bercheres at the time of the French Revolution.
 
Pontault-Combault is served by Emerainville–Pontault-Combault station on Paris RER, Reseau Express Regional line E. A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages, Pontault-Combault is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
