Poissy

France, officially the French Republic, is a country whose metropolitan territory is located in Western Europe and comprises various overseas islands and territories which are located in other regions. Metropolitan France extends from the Mediterranean Sea to the English Channel and the North Sea and from the Rhine to the Atlantic Ocean. At 674,843 square kilometers, France is the world's 40th-largest country after Myanmar. France is a member of The European Union and Paris is the capital of this nation. The sole official language of France is French. Since prehistoric times, France has been a crossroads of trade, migrations, and invasions.

Poissy is a community in the western suburbs of Paris, France, located 23.8 kilometers from the center of Paris. In 1561 it was the site of a fruitless Catholic-Huguenot conference. It is known for good schools and fancy homes. It is also known for having the former Simca factory, now one of France's biggest Peugeot factories. In 2004, the population of the city was 35,500 and an area of 13.28 square kilometers.

Poissy is a modern market city which offers a mix of apartments and older individual houses. The most sought after areas are to the south and towards Villennes which provide a peaceful and private residential area on the banks of the Seine. Its lively commercial centre, parks, RER, Reseau Express Regional and access to the A14 auto route make it a great area.

A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages, Poissy is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
