Plaisir




France, officially the French Republic, is a country whose metropolitan territory is located in Western Europe and comprises various overseas islands and territories which are located in other regions. Metropolitan France extends from the Mediterranean Sea to the English Channel and the North Sea, and from the Rhine to the Atlantic Ocean. At 674,843 square kilometres, France is the world's 40th-largest country after Myanmar. France is a member of The European Union and Paris is the capital of this nation. The sole official language of France is French. Since prehistoric times, France has been a crossroads of trade, migrations, and invasions.
 
Plaisir is a commune in the western suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 29.5 kilometres from the center of Paris. It borders among others on Elancourt which lies to the south, Trappes which lies to the southeast and Les-Clayes-sous-Bois which lies to east. Inhabitants are called Plaisirois. It has a major shopping mall. It is twinned with the east Anglian town of Lowestoft. Yvelines is a French department in the region of Ile-de-France. Yvelines was created from the western part of the no longer existing department of Seine-et-Oise on January 1, 1968 in accordance with a law passed on January 10, 1964. Its altitude is 92 metres to 173 metres. It covers an area of 18.68 square kilometres, population of 31,045 and density of 1,662 per square kilometres. Plaisir is served by two stations on the Transilien Paris, the Montparnasse suburban rail line Plaisir to Les Clayes and Plaisir to Grignon.
 
Plaisir, justifiably so, enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers, and is one of the most visited place. It is also said the place of best geographical environment and can trace its origin back to prehistoric times.
