Mons-en-Baroeul is a commune in the department of Nord and the Nord-Pas de Calais region of France. It is sa suburb of the city of Lille, and is adjacent to it on the northeast. It is a component of the metropolitan Urban Community of Lille Metropole. In the 1999 census, Mons-en-Baroeul had a population of twenty three thousand and seventeen with density 7.992 per square. Its land area is 2.88 per square kilometers.
