Le Tampon
France, officially the French Republic, is a country whose metropolitan territory is located in Western Europe and comprises various overseas islands and territories which are located in other regions. Metropolitan France extends from the Mediterranean Sea to the English Channel and the North Sea, and from the Rhine to the Atlantic Ocean. At 674,843 square kilometres, France is the world's 40th-largest country after Myanmar. France is a member of The European Union and Paris is the capital of this nation. The sole official language of France is French. Since prehistoric times, France has been a crossroads of trade, migrations, and invasions.
Le Tampon is the fourth-largest community in the French overseas department of Reunion. It is situated on the south-central part of the island of Reunion, adjacent to Saint-Pierre. In the 1999 census, Le Tampon had a population of 60,323. The main income of the city is tourism.
According to Yves Perotin, who was a historian, Le Tampon was equally a milestone. There is dithering between the fight plug, a sort of wood cork with which one, one mouth the hole does by a projectile in the shell of a vessel, and the howsehole plug that provides to close this one to the sea, allowing himself the migration of the sea water on the bridge of a boat.
