Le Robert is the third-largest community in the French overseas department of Martinique. It is situated in the northeastern that is the Atlantic side of the island of Martinique. In the 1999 census, Le Robert had a population of 21,240. Martinique is an island in the eastern Caribbean Sea, having a total area of 1,128 square kilometers. As part of France, this is part of the European Union. Its official language is French. Martinique is pictured on all euro banknotes and on the backside at the bottom of each note.
