Le Plessis-Robinson is one of most popular destinations in France, and is well known for the quantity of cultural related attractions and monuments. It is basically a commune in the southwestern suburbs of Paris and is located almost 10.5 kilometers from the center of Paris. The commune listed a total land area of 3.43 square kilometers, population of 21,618 inhabitants according to the 1999 census and a population density of 6,303 per square kilometers.

Plessis was first mentioned as Latin Plessiacus in the 839th century and was located next to Chatenay Latin Castanetum. The name Plessiacus was switched on to Plessis-Raoul in 1250. The name was again switched on to Le Plessis-Liberte in 1793 and eventually as Le Plessis-Piquet in 1801. However, ultimately, it became Le Plessis-Robinson.

Presently, Le Plessis-Robinson experiences a sharp social, economic and population growth derivative of the strategic position of the locality and the high level of well-being and quality of life that is enjoyed with respect to other places of France. This fact has consolidated along with other adjacent municipalities, as a great alternative for residence.
