Forbach is a town in south-western Germany and a commune in the Moselle department, in France. It is located near the German border and has a population of 22,784 inhabitants. When travelling by train between Germany and France, the station in Forbach is where Customs procedures were performed. The trains change from right-hand running in Germany to left-hand running in France. It is the home to the famous French singer, Patricia Kaas.
