Choisy-le-Roi

Choisy-le-Roi is a community in the Val de Marne department situated in the southeast of Paris, France. Crossed by the Seine River, it is located 10.7 kilometers from the center of Paris. The nearby towns include Alfortville to the north-east, Creteil to the east, Valenton et Villeneuve-Saint-Georges to the south east, Orly to the south west, Thiais to the west and Vitry-sur-Seine to the north west. The city is served by Choisy-le-Roi station on Paris RER line C. It is also served by Villeneuve Prairie station on Paris RER, Reseau Express Regional line D. The city’s land area is 5.43 square kilometers, population as per the 1999 census is 34,336 and density as per 1999 is 6,323 square kilometers.
