Chatillon is a commune in the southwestern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located at about 7 kilometers far away from the center of Paris. The town was formerly named Chatillon-sous-Bagneux. Hauts-de-Seine is a department in France. It is part of the Ile-de-France region, is adjacent to the City of Paris and forms part of the western suburbs of Paris. It is small and densely populated and contains the modern office, theatre and shopping complex known as La Defense with its Grande Arche. Chatillon is served by Chatillon-Montrouge station on Paris Metro line 13. It has a population of about 28,622 people.
