Begles is a commune in the departement of Gironde and the Aquitaine region of France. It is a suburb of the city of Bordeaux, and is adjacent to it on the south. Thus, it is a member of the metropolitan Urban Community of Bordeaux. In the 1999 census, Begles had a population of 22,475.
