Beaune
France, officially the French Republic, is a country whose metropolitan territory is located in Western Europe and comprises various overseas islands and territories which are located in other regions. Beaune is a commune in eastern France, a sous-prefecture of the Cote-d'Or departement, in the Bourgogne region. The area around Beaune, the Cote de Beaune, is known for its Burgundy wines, and Beaune is known for its annual wine sales organized by the Hospices de Beaune. It is situated on the route des Grands Crus touristic road among the vineyards.
